By accessing or using Grida ("the Service") at grida.online, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Grida is a free-to-play, browser-based word game. Players place letters on a grid to form words, competing locally or online. The Service includes user accounts, game rooms, leaderboards, and player profiles.

3. Accounts

• You may play as a guest without an account. Guest sessions are temporary and game history is not retained.
• To create a registered account you must provide a valid email address and choose a unique username (3–15 characters). You may also register via Google OAuth.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password.
• You may only hold one registered account per person. Duplicate accounts may be removed.
• Usernames are permanent and cannot be changed after registration.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use automated tools (bots) to gain an unfair advantage.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or any part of the Service you are not authorised to access.
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm other users.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload our servers.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

5. User Content

Usernames and words submitted during gameplay are visible to other players and displayed on public leaderboards and profiles. Please ensure any username or content you submit is appropriate and does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding of Grida are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation. We are not liable for any data loss, game interruptions, or damages arising from use of the Service.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at info@grida.online. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will indicate the revision date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
