How to Play
Word placement on a shared grid. Bigger words = more points.
1
Place
Drop one letter onto an empty cell adjacent to an existing letter.
2
Claim
Trace a path through adjacent cells to spell a word - it must include your new letter.
3
Score
Points = word length. Fill the board, then count your total.
The starting board
Every game begins with a 5-letter word placed in the center row. Players take turns adding letters and collecting words from the board.
Letter placement
✓ Valid - adjacent
New letter touches the existing letter directly.
✗ Invalid - diagonal
Diagonal does not count as adjacent.
Word path
✓ Direction change - allowed
A→R (horizontal) then R→M (vertical). Changing direction is fine.
✗ Diagonal step - not allowed
A and B are diagonal - each step must be horizontal or vertical.
